Social Media and Group Chats
Please be aware that children should not have any social media accounts until they are at least 13 years old. Some sites, like Whatsapp require users to be 16 years old.
Despite this, an estimated one-third of children have a social media account, so it’s important that trusted adults know what content young people are consuming; what they’re posting; and what interactions they’re having.
