The Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENDCo) is Mr A Walters on senco@lawn.derby.sch.uk or pop into the school office to make an appointment.
Our SEND Link Governor is Mrs Louise Rhodes who can be contacted through the school office or via governors@lawn.derby.sch.uk.

Derby City Local Offer
What is the Local Offer?
Derby’s SEND Local Offer is an online one stop shop for parents and young people to find out about all the services and support on offer to children and young people from birth to 25 who have special educational needs and/or Disabilities (SEND)in the city. Derby City Council, along with all other local authorities, are required to pub-lish information about services they expect to be available in their area. It tells parents how to access services and support in Derby City and what to expect from these services, including details of Higher Needs Funding and Education and Health Care Plans.
World Autism Acceptance Week 27th March - 2nd April
The Social Communication and Autism Team have shared a range of resources to help celebrate World Autism Acceptance Week, which runs from the 27th March.
World Autism Acceptance Week is a great opportunity to help young people understand their diagnosis and to help Autistic people be understood by the people around them.
