We constantly look at the ways in which to improve the experience our children have at Lawn.
The main priorities are displayed below for this academic year.
Headline Key Priorities for 2019-20
Develop and review writing across the school so attainment and progress is higher, including the percentage of children writing at a greater depth.
To embed a devolved and sustainable system of leadership at all levels, including the use of coaching through the FED approach.
To evaluate, review and update the curriculum to ensure breadth, balance, enrichment and creativity, impacting positively on pupils’ outcomes by having a “Curiousity Curriculum”.
Strengthen the Attachment Aware and Trauma Informed provision within school.
To develop the mental health, wellbeing and PSHE provision in school for both pupils and staff.
To embed teaching and learning fundamentals across the curriculum e.g. metacognition, dual coding.
To become an Academy and join Transform Multi Academy Trust.
