Fine Dining is a reward system for those FS2 and KS1 children who consistently show exemplary behaviours and attitudes during lunchtime.
Fine Dining takes place on Monday lunchtime and the children are rewarded by sitting on a specially decorated table for all to see. The children are also treated to waitress service by Mrs Allison and Mrs Hallam!
To be in with a chance of being on the fine dining table the Playworkers set a target for the week and then see who achieves those targets, for example, those children who demonstrate consistently good manners, eat with a knife and fork, make healthy choices at lunchtime and show that they are following Lawn Values and behaviour rules throughout lunchtimes as well as at other times of the day.
The names are called out during Golden Awards on a Thursday. Four children from the infants are chosen. Each child can then choose a friend who they feel also deserves to be ‘fine dined’ with them.
Your child’s dinner arrangements will still remain the same.
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact the school office or speak with Mrs Hallam.
Fast Passes for KS2
Alongside the fine dining for FS2 and KS1 the older children will have chance to earn a fast pass which means they can go into lunch early for a day. They have to show that they are achieving the target set by the play workers. Again their names will be called out during our Golden Awards assembly on a Thursday. The children can then chose a friend to accompany them to lunch early on the day they want to.
