We are now, as of 1st December 2019, officially an academy and part of Transform Multi-Academy Trust.
Academy Order Granted
As you may be aware the Governing Board of Lawn Primary School applied to become an academy under the Academies Act 2010 and has now been issued with the Academy Order by the Secretary of State (agreeing to it becoming an academy) and joining Transform Multi Academy Trust. We are hoping that the conversion date will be November 1st 2019. More details will be sent at the start of the new school year.
Academy Consultation Information Feb 2019
As you may be aware the Governing Board has been exploring formal collaborations with other schools for a while now. After careful consideration and following a meeting, the governors voted overwhelmingly in favour on becoming an academy and joining Transform Trust. Governors would now like to begin the formal process of consultation with you to consider the conversion of the school into an Academy with Transform Trust. We believe that this move will have many benefits for our children, families and staff, and will enable us to work with other highly regarded schools to share expertise in all areas of school life - whilst at the same time maintaining all of the attributes that make our schools so special.
The consultation will run from February 26th 2019 to April 2nd 2019. If you would like to respond to the consultation please do so by emailing: email@example.com
